28 States, 33 Governors, The formation of the Tea Party all fighting against Obama-Care even 2 Judges declaring Obama-Care unconstitutional but he turns a deaf ear to us? Anyone else find this disturbing? So Obama will listen to the will of the people in Egypt but not America?
Disturbing - yes. Surprising - no.
He would rather cheer freedom for Egypt than for us.
America has funded Egypt for decades.
You are the ones turning a deaf ear not the president. He is trying to help millions of people and there are those going against it. Get a clue and facts not lies and hate and negativity.
I am grateful that he has helped my elderly "white" parents and provide better health care and that his company is helping their employees to have decent health care. Republicans are funded by too many pharmacies and insurance companies to continue poor and expensive health care. You can have a good policy but you use it you lose it. Lot of young and middle aged people who have not been sick have no clue how it works or cost. But still Obama only came out with a watered down policy cause the republicans were having a fit which has angered many people also.So Obama will listen to the will of the people in Egypt but not America?
I don't necessarily think healthcare reform is a good idea but this argument is silly.
The president isn't required to do what 33 state governors want him to do. Nor does he have to do what the Tea Party or any other organization wants him to do. We have a republic. We elect the president and he gets to make the decisions for 4 years based on what he thinks is best. He isn't required to pay attention to polling - in fact presidents who do are often criticized for it and presidents who don't are often praised for doing what they think is right no matter the political cost.
You are right. Some courts have found healthcare reform to be unconstitutional. But some courts have found healthcare reform to be constitutional. Just because a couple lower courts rule against it doesn't mean he is under any legal obligation to listen to them. It will likely end up being decided in the Supreme Court. If they find it unconstitutional, then Obama will have to listen.
Another way your analogy is flawed is that Obama didn't support any side in the Egyptian situation. He ignored calls from the right and left to make strong public statements one way or another. Instead he worked behind the scenes with the Egyptian military to make sure the situation would not destabilize Egypt and possibly the region. Otherwise he kept out of it.
America is free. Those people had half the opportunities Americans have so of course Obama wants to see an American alli better themselves. You should all consider maturing a bit and appreciate what you have and support other countries on their path to freedom. It takes a selfless leader to think about bettering the world along with their own countrySo Obama will listen to the will of the people in Egypt but not America?
exactly, he is an inept leader incapable of leading. he is a johnny come lately. not one issue has he been on the front of, he even passed owe-bama care to the dem congress to figure out.
I've noticed what you're describing from the beginning of Obama's administration, America suffers and he turns his back on the country.
Obama is listening to the will of the people that elected him.
I'm egyptian and I DO HATE it when obama interferes with our own affairs. that's not to help us but to show domination of his rich country over our poor country or whatever reasons that can NEVER be for our own good
Conservatives do not make up the entirety of the American people.
The formation of my answer is to shut you up.
Great question and analogy.
Must be a Muslim thing.
He's listening, but Its out of his hands. Congress already passed it.
yep, that's the way it goes, but to his credit.he did say he would stand with his muslim brothers
WELL SAID!!!!!!
Because they're moslem and most of US are not.
