How come now that Obama has dumped Wright people who oppose him are mad?

OMGosh! Last night a HUGE majority of the post that came in while I was on was about people wishing that Obama would get rid of Wright. Now that he has for a lot of the same people are getting on Obama's back about that. People were saying that if Obama wants to win he should dump Wright. Maybe Obama was truely outraged at Wright. It is possible since he was born with a mind of his own and all.

But what do you think? How come now that Obama has dumped Wright people who oppose him are mad?
He did not dumped him, he just stated that he unequivocally denounces what he said.
Not mad at all. He just showed that he'd sell out his best friends. What does that say about his leadership skillsHow come now that Obama has dumped Wright people who oppose him are mad?
Because it gives them one less thing to bash him over
You mean like mad crazy? How come now that Obama has dumped Wright people who oppose him are mad?
because it was a sly set up by obama. wright only said those things so obama can make a speech and denounce him.
Obama will say whatever is expedient for him at the time. Just another politician with a prettier-than-average smile.
Barack could have done one thing, and ONE thing only to save himself this mess

He should have denounced and distanced himself from Wright 6 weeks ago. To claim now that all of a sudden, that his relationship with Wright is different is just a political trick.

If the media had never jumped on this, Barack would still be sitting at church in Trinity today, happy as a clam
Honestly, I'm just worried about what else is out there. I don't think Obama is unpatriotic or racist. But I do think there are certain things in his past that make it easy for the other side to argue those things.
This just proves those people right who said that Jeremiah was a prophet: he will say whatever he has to to get elected. But 20 years doesn't come off your shoes so easily.
In the context of all his previous statements, his mixed messages on not hearing and now pretending to not even KNOW Wright, Obama is weak and not a leader.
People don't like Obama because he's a liar. He supported Wright in his writings and verbally over the last 22 out of 23 years and now we are supposed to believe he didn't know Wright stood for these things. Either Obama never went to Church and never spoke to anyone from the church and never read the bulletin or he agreed with these things like he has written and said for a long long time. I'm pissed he's distancing himself from Wright because he is lying and should state what his views are even when they are racist and anti-american and let the people decide if they support him or not.
I don't think anyone here was asking him to get rid of Wright, plenty of people did say that she should have gotten rid of Wright well over 20 years ago. At the very least, Obama should have left the church no later than 7 years ago, when tangible evidence existed that his pastor's anti-American bias was glaringly obvious.

I think dumping the Rev. was probably a boneheaded move. Before he looked like a shameless liar, an oblivious jackass or both. Now he can add "disloyal bastard" to the resume. He would have at least showed some sack by sticking to his guns instead of trying to appease people who are never going to vote for him anyway. Instead, he is pissing on the anti-American left and racist blacks who make up most of his constituency now.
any decent American would Never dump their mentor of twenty years.

that's far worse than saying "I was stupid for twenty years, but now I've seen the light" - what a bunch of B.S.
I'm not mad at all.

In fact I'm finding this whole circus between Obama and the Rev pretty amusing.

Obama made another rookie mistake.

In his speech in Pa. in March he should have thrown the Rev under the bus with his Grandmother. He didn't and now he's being forced to do yet another flip-flop. I still remember him saying how he couldn't disown the Rev.

Well he didn't. He dropped him down a deep well instead.

The Rev will fire back and this bad soap opera will continue....all the way to November if Obama becomes the Nominee.

Stay tuned and keep the popcorn handy.
When Wright was making accusations against America, he was OK, but now he has made accusations against Obama and must be thrown under the bus!

I wonder why Obama wasn't as angry about Wright's AIDS comments as he was about his secretly agreeing with the AIDS comments.

I don't really wonder. Sorry, for doing an Obama, I mean lying!
Not mad here. I just wondered if he would prove out to be a politician.......he did.....lies and does what ever necessary to get the vote.
