Why does the Obama administration keep TOYING with the idea of prosecuting people in the CIA?

When the going gets rough for Obama out come the water boarding or prisoner abuse talk and threats of prosecution.

Are they going to actually do it this time?

If not shouldn't they just STFU and stop bringing it up every couple of months as a distraction? Why does the Obama administration keep TOYING with the idea of prosecuting people in the CIA?
They can start with Acorn and work their way up to Obama, if they really want to prosecute someone***********************
This was biased and got a biased answer.

Why does the Obama administration keep TOYING with the idea of prosecuting people in the CIA?
Dude!

I totally agree with you. I want the CIA to have total access to spying on my phone called. And if the CIA think I'm a spy because I eat wonder bread instead of whole wheat, then the CIA should have the full right and access to jail me, torture me and execute me without a trial.

Hitler would not have gone far if he started prosecuting the SS, brown shirts or any of the secret police.
Distraction and disinformation is the name of the game. By having us focus and argue amongst ourselves about some minutia involving the war on terror, they can continue to pervert and frustrate the U.S. Constitution, and Bill of Rights; socializing the debt, federalizing the private sector, and ushering in the New World Order. Why does the Obama administration keep TOYING with the idea of prosecuting people in the CIA?
In a word: distraction. A distraction from the $9 trillion debt number, a distraction from the horrible slide in the polls, a distraction from the outcry against the government run health care power grab.
yes, maybe that's what they are doing, braining it up every few months as a dies traction, to keep some of what he is really doing/not doing from the news. wag the dog, i wonder what he will do/invade when he really messes up big
they are just trying to cover up the deaths in Iraq and afghanistan......truth is more torture is done in war than in civilian life....like those drones that can't be seen aren't a form of torture......a rocket flying over your head without notice isn't torture?
Its only my opinion, but perhaps its to still up hatred for the Bush administration, in the hopes of blinding the population from seeing how terrible a job they're doing.
The administration is doing this?

Are you sure?

Or, is it the Independent Justice Department?
I think that this administration believes that they have higher moral standards than the previous administration and they are hell bent on proving it.
I think Holder is opening a can of worms that the dems may come to regret.

Administrations skirt the law all the time.
Just ask Obama best friend Eric Holder.
Obama was under too much pressure. He swore to uphold the Constitution, so he really has to charge those criminals that destroyed this country. And Bush will be the first to fry!
This is a false claim.
Its in Eric Holder's hands now.
