When Hillary steals the nomination from Obama at the convention, what will his supporters do?

It's clear that Hillary cannot get the nomination through the established primary/caucus system. Obama's lead, though small, is insurmountable. So, Hillary will steal the nomination by pressuring superdelegates and by seating the Florida and Michigan delegates "elected" in their "primaries." When this happens (and it certainly will because the Clintons will not be denied the nomination), what will the millions of loyal Obama supporters do?When Hillary steals the nomination from Obama at the convention, what will his supporters do?
Well, you'd think the democrats would know something by now about votes being split down the middle.

One thing they could do is make a Hillary/Obama ticket, which I guess should please the democrats. At least they would be united on their ticket.

On the other hand, either Hillary or Obama is anathema to the Republicans, and they'll likely be crawling out of the woodwork to defeat them.

Perhaps their ticket should include a very conservative Democrat so as not to overly motivate the Republicans to outvote them.

Just my opinion, but Hillary at the helm is likely the least electable due to her and Bill's baggage. Obama would at least be a fresh start.

But then again, I've been a McCain supporter from the start, so I already know where my vote is going.
Steal???? O.k BROTHER, nice tryWhen Hillary steals the nomination from Obama at the convention, what will his supporters do?
Hillary will jump off a cliff
hope she dont, obama for president!!!!!!When Hillary steals the nomination from Obama at the convention, what will his supporters do?
No one will vote, ever...we will crumble into anarchy, because no one will want either of the candidates.
not sure, but i'm loving your confidence. go hil!
It sounds like you are trying to convince yourself that Hilary still has a chance. Let go, and bow down to Obama!
If Hillary steals the nomination then many democrats will feel disenfranchised and not vote in the general election, and this will put the republicans at a distinct advantage.
Sorry Sunny, it's gonna happen!
Vote Republican in the November election.
You can bet anarchy will ensue!...It's going to be hilarious to watch the Democrat party implode and fall into complete irrelevance!
Read my source. It's all about what you're saying, basically!
They will probably go back to living their lives as usual... hey, we did after Kerry lost the election, right? Tragic as it was...
Why don't you just wait and see what happens before you start getting angry?
Well, this Obama supporter would leave the democratic party to become an Independent for the rest of my life.
They will elect John McCain in November.
Storm the bastille
It is going to be some great "reality" TV, for sure.

It is kinda interesting watching the Democratic Party, USA turn on the Clintons and start feeding on them like lions.
What they always do when they dont get their way.....riot %26amp; loot
she can't. super delegates NEVER go against the will of people.

In case DNC superdelegates do that, then i'm voting for mccain.

Why i should stick to a party who does not even honor the will of its supporters?
you cant STEAL a selective process, the superdelegates were for her when she did her exploratory session. Dont ya get, the people voting is a show , curtain up, curtain down --the people of power and corporation select the Dem nominee still as they always have
probably cry...Obama really is the leader our nation needs at this cucial time in history to restore or integrity in the world....Clinton is more of the same in Washington DC, she fought against the drug companies (a noble deed) but then sold-out and was bought off by the companies...Obama seems to be a genuine, honest man trying to galvanize our country..it really would be a sad day to see such promise come to an end.
Obama supporters will hopefully stand behind the democratic ticket regardless of how it turns out. I don't feel as confident as you sound that Hillary will walk away with the ticket. Obama seems almost cult-like to me. What will his supporters do if he makes it to the White House and can't come through with his depiction of "change" in his term(s) as president? What if the GOP wants him to be the nominee because they know he's a newbie, whereas Hillary knows the ropes? What will the people do?
I think you are assuming a lot. Why wouldn't Mrs. Clinton win the candidacy on merit?... why does there have to be corruption?...To satisfy the fact that you oppose her and so there must be something underhanded going on if she wins?...

I happen to believe that a woman is exactly what is needed in that dusty. starched, misoginous white house, filled with current Bush dumbness and the ghosts of a few good presidents and many bad ones, who use the same old policies, I'd say unimaginatively.

Fresh blood and a new outlook. Why not with Hillary?...
I feel like this is the 60's over again. False Hope instead of hard work. Peace Love etc., now Hope, We can do it.

People are voting on Hope and Change, when all we need is someone that can work hard with a lot of smarts. Like Clinton

Obama uh, uh, uh, isn't uh smart uh enough.

Listen to his speeches. uh, uh, uh.
Lets kind of put this in a perspective that could give you

some insight. Should Hillary pull this off and she will, For

the Bill Clinton Machine is still alive and well. Slick has

enough favors owed to pull this off..And when he doe's

the Dems will impload... Remeber these cities names

Watts, Detroit, Chicago, Milwuakee, shades of the 60's

folks take a walk back into history, And it will all be for

nothing for Obama is not as black as what those who

flock to him might think. The dem party will be ripped

so far apart there will no bandage big enough to stop

the bleeding.
americans will not let her steal it and she is a no win no win ..talk to lations friends they think she look american it is crazy.the super delegate insiders this time will not get their way ..hope the american people will. florida and micingan no vote...he will win the causcas and he will be president....write dc call your representitive and your super delegate in your state tell everyone listen to the people or you will; be voted out e-mail them..this time is americans time for a new fresh not business as usual senator welfare states living off the taxpyer that is what senators are you know welfare recepiants of you and your money that is alll and the rest of their life they get free medical and retirement payed for by you the taxpayer yes it is true check and you can laugh or cry
Honestly, this is a really interesting %26amp; crazy Democratic Election because we have people that feel strongly about both Clinton %26amp; Obama that if there choice doesn't win, then they will not vote. What people aren't realizing is that they are still democratics, so if you are a democratic, then you will benefit!! I Love Hilliary, not because she was first lady or senator of New York, because I can see a clear picture from her as far as her polictial views are concern, I can't see that right now with Obama.....But if Obama were to win the Democratic Nomination, then I would vote for him when it is election time. But in the mean time.....GO HILLIARY!!!
There are no sins if they are committed by a democrat.

There will never be accountability for wrong-doing from fellow democrats; yet, you're right, sHrillery will commit every dirty, mean-spirited and under-handed trick, that's what con artists do.

For Obama supporters, no worries. sHrillery is not stupid, she will throw him a bone and ask him to be V.P. If he were to win (he can't because she will cheat %26amp; use the media like she did to get Texas and Ohio) he would never offer her the VP role. He would have a lot more to fear than terrorists or racists, if he put himself in a position that she would become President, if he had a little accident. Ron Brown or Vince Foster or any of the other people who got in the Clinton's way have spoken from the grave.....
Start over and plan. I'm sure whoever loses will do this. Both Obama and Hillary are strong candidates whether we like to admit it or not.
I am trying to imagine what Hillary would be doing to Al Gore if he was pitted against her instead of Obama. I'm not terribly fond of Gore, but he is certainly a better person than she is.
