Obama wasted all your welfare money on stupid things like the bail out plan. Then Obama gave what is left of your medicare to people who make 64,000 a year and already have heal-care benefits from there work and do not need it.How do you Liberals feel that Obama wasted all your welfare money?

The bank bailouts were done in late 2007 and on into 2008 by Bush/Cheney and their Treasury Secretary, former Goldman-Sachs executive Paulson, with the approval of Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke. More than 419 banks were bailed out using $700 BILLION of taxpayer dollars, but with no plan in place to facilitate paybacks or to monitor how these dollars were used by the fatcat greedy-gut banksters. In late 2008, then-President-Elect Obama asked the Democrats in Congress and the Senate to place a FREEZE on the second half of these bailout dollars after learning of blatant MISUSE of the funds for the first half (for example, Ken Lewis, of Bank of America, decided to give himself $124,000,000 in a 2008 salary and another $64,000,000 in "bonus" for bankrupting his institution). Once that freeze was in place, new rules were passed on how these Bush-bailout dollars could be put to use to help with the housing and credit market COLLAPSES (crises) and a plan for REPAYMENT WITH INTEREST was also enacted---with every single Republican in both the House and the Senate voting for the banks and against the oversight rules!



If by "bail out [sic] plan" you mean the automotive bailout, we've made money on that investment, because both GM and Chrysler have been paying us back WITH INTEREST (see whitehouse.gov and recovery.gov for details). First of all, you write like you dropped out of school at second grade. If you're going to criticize the President, make sense. Nothing you said is true and it doesn't make sense. The "bail out plan" (Tarp) was under Bush. And actually, Tarp made money for us....

The 2 trillion dollar bailout was architected by Hank Paulson under the Bush administration. Under the original draft that bailout liability would still be growing. Under the Obama's revised strategy TARP is nearly repaid.How do you Liberals feel that Obama wasted all your welfare money?
