That kind of person does not have the drive, nor the forcefulness of individual thought to pull it off. Secondly, the Wright 'thing' is serious, Obama addressed the issue, made his statements, took action by removing Wright from the campaing and made a major speech to explain himself, what more do you want him to do? Obama's "typical white people" was not necessarily wrong; it's actually true in many places in America. In any event, the statements don't make him a racist.

Sory about our goverments treatment of your people in the past. But you must realise that you are being exactly the same as Wright. Both of you are taking out your anger on all white people because some of us have done bad things to your people in the past. Many of the excuses his supporters are making are just laughable; comparing the uproar against him to McCarthyism, claiming Wright's comments were taken out of context and are therefore meaningless (it was a full-on preacher's rant against the evil White man from end to end, how is that anything but in full context?), claiming it's not an issue and can we please move on, etc.
The fact is that Wright is a racist hater whom Obama has respected %26amp; admired for years, and there is no way he could have been in that position without being negatively influenced by Wright's mouth-foaming rants against White people. Like my granddaddy used to say, "Tell me who your friends are and I'll tell you who you are."
