Is Obama a socialist or is just the entire democratic party?

Can someone tell me the big difference between what Obama and the rest of the democratic party advocates for? I have yet to find any so far with the exception of centrist Bill Clintion and his wife (Yuck! I can't believe I just said that). Can someone tell me how Obama's policies are different than the rest of the democrats? Is Obama a socialist or is just the entire democratic party?
Have you ever noticed that when liberals are losing an argument, they will often resort to calling their opponent "fascist" or "nazi?"

Same goes for conservatives - whenever they start losing, they鈥檒l fall back on the old standby of calling their opponent "socialist" or "communist."

McCain is truly getting desperate. The fact is, he used to support the EXACT same type of tax plan that he is NOW calling socialism. Check out the video:

And by the way 鈥?what about Palin taking the windfall profits TAX from the oil companies and cutting a check to every Alaskan with it? If that's not "SPREADING THE WEALTH," I don't know what is.

The McCain campaign is going down swinging, but make no mistake - they are going down.

He actually belongs to the Democratic Socialist of America party, DSA. He also was a member of the New Party, a branch of the DSA.

He was listed as a member of the Democratic Socialist of America party when he ran for Illinois State Senator in 1996.

The regular Democratic party looks at the DSA as much more liberal and some even say it is radical. But this year unfortunately some of them do support the DSA candidate Obama. Some do not support him.

If you look at the Hillary Forum they are stronger for McCain. So many will vote for him. Obama is just too liberal for them.

See the Hillary Forum thread link below to see how they do not like him.

(to Curious: luv the videos, thx)

See the video of interview with William Ayers below. Is Obama a socialist or is just the entire democratic party?
If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service,

he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers,

a known terrorist.

If he is elected President he would not qualify to be his own body guard! how in the hell is he even qualified to be a candidate for the presidency.

but, americans are DEFINETELY dumb enough to vote for this guy

to answer your question though, the whole democratic party.
Why don't you start by defining socialism. Because if you do i think you will find that there are no politicians in America, including Obama, that come even close.

Just because Socialism and Communism are big bogeyman words doesn't mean they don't actually have meanings. I can call a cat a dog but that doesn't make it one.Is Obama a socialist or is just the entire democratic party?
The entire democratic party. I know that the NRA is particularly nervous about Obama as president. He wants a 500% tax increase. So a box of rifle ammo will be $500.00 and a new hunting rifle will cost you $5,000.00. Obama is change we cannot afford.See for yourself.
Watch these videos and you may get a clear perception!

We (America) are becoming more and more socialist. Obama just wants to put the plan in high gear. Take away more rights, take away more tax money away from you and me, and give it to ACORN, Bill Aires, Rev. Wright, ect, ect ,ect.
If Obama is a socialist to you, then McCain must be one too. McCain claims Obama wants to give checks to the 40% that don't pay income tax when McCain's health plan will give that same 40% $5,000.
Most democrats are also socialist except for a few conservative democrats that have been shut out by the democrat party elites.
The whole democratic party.
to some degree, America has always been a socialist country.

neither.
