How did Obama go from an amazing orator during elections to the one of the most boring speaker ever?

I just can't figure out how this happened.

How did Obama go from one of the most exciting, amazing orators during elections, prompting an entire nation (and by extension THE ENTIRE WORLD) to vote for and support a man they knew nearly nothing about, to the one of the most boring, uninspring speakers ever? How did Obama go from an amazing orator during elections to the one of the most boring speaker ever?
His other writer must have quit.
When you give speeches during a campaign you are usually speaking to the choir, supporters. You get fired up and can say anything/ Applause will follow. So you can spend more time on delivery than substance. During the camp he really said nothing substantial.

Now that the president has to consistenly address his entire Obamanation, knowing that now a majority of people do not approve of him, he hems and haws looking for magic words, being very cautious. Obama can answer a yes or no question for more then twenty minutes. As another contributor said, most Americans are seeing through his lies.

The only ones who can't are the Bush bashers who still have their Bush is A War Criminal on there walls, give Bush not credit and all the Blame. Who for some reason cannot see through Obama and nearly credit him with the creation of the world. (Tweny crisis at once? ) They are media drones, with tingling legs and little brains. How did Obama go from an amazing orator during elections to the one of the most boring speaker ever?
He gave a 30-minute acceptance speech and didn't say a damn thing during that 30 minutes of talking, but people were so drunk on the win, so caught up in the whole "finally a Democrat in the White House" thing, the "first black President" thing or the "Ah, he's not Bush" thing that they didn't recognize the bullshit for what it was.

Now when the man speaks, people are beginning to realize he's just talking to hear his head rattle. He's rapidly becoming a no-name President because he's got too many former supporters who don't want to admit they screwed up in even giving him the nomination.
By now most people can at least subconsciously pick up on his lies, and are already angry that he says one thing, does another, changes what he says, and then still does more and more of what everyone objected to in the first place. I might add with no results.
Once people see that rhetoric with no facts and knowledge it is as boring as religious services at 4-5 am on tv.How did Obama go from an amazing orator during elections to the one of the most boring speaker ever?
He's not always the most exiting talker, I'll agree. But he does do. He's managed about 20 catastrophies at the same time, started the economy and jobs turning around, passed healthcare, infrastructure and energy programs, saved the American Auto industry (which is paying us back and added 50,000 new jobs), passed Start treaty re: nukes, made student loans more affordable, infused jr. colleges with more money, for these hard times, etc., etc.; even negotiated with the intransigent Republicans, and protected our economy from their unreasonable cuts.

So I'll agree with an earlier poster...but not in the same way.

"Talk Doesn't Equal Action"
"Glitter and Shine"... has worn off.... "How" a person is "Groomed

by the media, and his handlers"...to PROJECT an Image.... Well,

ya all fell for it.... It is called, "Being Gullible because of In-experience".

You will learn as ya get older.... (No, I did not vote for Mr. Obama),

as I can "see through Glitter".....
I think the man is trying but just not able to deliver anything and when the people need it. The man should have known the economy needed the most attention, not healthcare or Libya. Instead, he tried to do too much too soon.
Because after awhile, lofty soaring rhetoric, with nothing substantial backing it up, loses it's appeal.
Because without his teleprompter and William Ayers writing his speeches Obama is a stuttering muttering fool.
What has always distracted me is the deafening whistle he makes at the the end of every "s." For that alone I change the station.
His once loud and enthusiastic crowds have turned into drooling zombies.
It's somewhat more difficult when you've reached office and required to speak something more than platitudes.
Obama would have been better off sticking to the senate where he doesn't have to actually do anything...just talk and vote.
Most thinking people finally seen through his flowery rhetoric and all his BS
You campaign in poetry and govern in prose.
Talking doesn't equal doing. People now clearly see the difference.
disagree - he still speaks very well.
Practice *L*... He does it daily
Cool Aid Ran out huh sparky!
crack supply must be running low
