Obama won't have to do anything. He'll just sit back and watch the republican created disaster unfold as we default and everyone in the country starts scrambling for survival with the knowledge of who chose to put them in that position.What will the Obama do when the house refuses to raise the debt ceiling?
Well, given that Boehner already publicly assured his Wall Street backers that the Republicans wouldn't carry through with their threat, it's all theatrics at this point.

It's APPALLING theatrics, given that Republicans are basically threatening to blow the detonator on the American economy if they don't get what they want, it's nonetheless empty threats by the Republicans' own admission.


(Incidentally, to humor your make-believe fantasy of collective Republican treason, if Republicans kickstarted a SECOND recession by deliberately sabotaging the American economy, I would hope that what Obama would do is desperately plead with the nationwide angry mobs marching on congresspeople's homes not to resort to violence.)

@ I love how the left wing loons claim it is the Republicans fault. It was the democratic controlled congress that failed to obey the law and create a budget nearly a year ago that led to this situation. Anybody besides me think they did it on purpose to create a crisis? He doesnt have to do anything. The Republican house is now under control of the tea party, and well, we all know they want a depression to hurt Obama. That will fail. Republicans will take the hit in this one. I see most of the new tea party members out next term. They think they have the good Old Boys beat. The GOP has taken it easy on them but that will change. Dems know this, and quite frankly, they will sit back and watch the war.
