What happened to Obama's positive message of hope and change? Is Obama spreading too much doom and gloom?

Obama ran on a campaign that discussed the audacity of hope. Yet, now Obama's own message seems hopeless.

Does Obama need to change his negative attitude? What happened to Obama's positive message of hope and change? Is Obama spreading too much doom and gloom?
It was all a facade.

He and his fellow democrats created this crisis in 2007before he became president. Remember the stock market was at an all time high of 14,000 under Bush's tax cuts for everyone policy. Now it's falling like a rock and may turn into a depression. Liberals like depressions and will do all they can to create them.

Obama is now milking this crisis as an opportunity to turn the country into a socialist dictatorship. And it might just work. Even though his support is dwindling, that won't stop him. He's controlled by George Soros, the leader of the democrat party.

The goal is to completely destroy the country and build it back up in order to fulfill his agenda.

People who know what he's doing and care about the country are hoping he fails on his agenda. So it's not surprising that most people are opposed to this guy's policies. Remember, 52% of democrats wanted Bush to fail in his war on terror. The war turned out to be a success, but that didn't stop them from wishing it would fail.
Thanks for picking my answer.

I think that is one of the craziest things I have ever heard.

Barry is a complete phony who is in way over his head. How did he manage to fool so many people? What happened to Obama's positive message of hope and change? Is Obama spreading too much doom and gloom?
Obama bit off more than he can chew by becoming president. He was all charisma and charm with no substance. Never did he give specifics about how he was going to change things or fix things. He doesn't know what he is doing.
It lowers our level of expectation and makes some of his followers more dependent on the govt. They actually think he is the only one who sees things as they are and has the solution.
If he changes it, he wont be gettin credit for fixing a crisis.

His people seem to use the mantra "Don't waste a good crisis" all the time.
Obama needs to step down. he is in way over his head and is just making things worse.
Hope and Change were offered but remember, he's a politician.
Obama needs to change a lot more than his attitude he needs to do a 180 and become a lot more conservative. His policy of raising taxes (and believe me he is raising taxes) and spend, spend, spend will bring this country to socialism very quickly.
He was elected by the "Whatever" generation. The ones who do see past the surface of anything.

He, and the Democrats have always used scare tactics and sob stories to convince the uneducated voters that they are the "answer" to those problems.

They want us exactly where they think we should be. Dependent on the Government for our most basic needs.
Just goes to show what happens when people get swept along in a tide of mass hysteria.

But having said that, give the guy a chance. He's not the Second Coming - never was, and that's the problem. Too many expectations laid on the shoulders of a man who has a lot of learn, and who inherited a load of trouble. And that's not going to be put right in the first how-long has he been in the White House? Surely.

I hope he has some wise people behind him because he's going to need them - and the rest of the world needs the Americans to sort themselves out - like it or not!!!
He sure did campaign against Hilary when she questioned his competency and experience, stated I have the skills to fix this economy. I can hit the ground running. Now that he is there, actually started right after he was selected for office, ohhh it's worse than I thought, I need more time, I need more time, and more money.
He is caught between realism and optimism. He has to be honest yet hopeful, and that is a real balancing act. No, he doesn't need to change anything.......we need to be patient.

Edit: Whoa, looks like a lot of impatient people out there with all these TDs to my answer. The economy has been building up to this downward spiral for a long time. Obama has been in office for less than two months - he is not going to work miracles in that short of time.
